St James the Great in Aslackby—the first church in Lincolnshire to achieve 'Dementia Friendly Status'—hosts a vibrant dementia café that serves as a vital sanctuary for the community. Run by Dementia Support South Lincolnshire, this essential club provides meaningful assistance to more than 200 local families caring for loved ones with dementia. Gathering at the church offers participants a warm, engaging space to enjoy planned social activities, share experiences, and form lasting friendships with fellow families and the church community.
